I won a free sweater kit from Berroco! They'll send me the yarn for the largest size (which means I'm going to have tons of extra yarn, yay!), and the pattern booklet. I'm so excited; I never win anything!!
So, this is the sweater I'm going to get. :D

This is what took me about 6 hours yesterday:
I'm so proud though. I got the tutorial here. It took me so long because there were a few wtf moments with the tut and my sewing machine kept on eating the thread. I almost finished a huge spool of white thread on this baby. BUT now I finally have something that will look decent to have in my purse. My old cosmetic bag pilled and picked up kitty hairs and the orange fuzzies from my rug. I'm also thrilled because I sewed a zipper and it didn't come out totally wonky. (Except for a few hand stitching moments) Go me! :D |

School's started, and there hasn't been much crafting lately. Besides cutting up a t-shirt the night before the first day that has yet to be sewn. :(
